Brandon Lopez AVL Engineer & Technical Director

I fix things.

Live audio, Q-SYS control systems, brand work, software built by feel — different rooms, same instinct: figure out how something actually works, then make it better.

Things I'm building.

Software for rooms full of people and the people running the room.

A little about me.

What I do and where I've been.

I work in live audio and AV systems — mixing shows, programming Q-SYS, and building control systems that actually make sense to the person running them. Hand me a rig that's been duct-taped together for five years or a problem nobody can find, and I'm genuinely happy. That's where I do my best work.

Most of my time goes to live events and freelance AVL/Q-SYS work — churches, corporate events, venues, integration companies across the country. I've show-called rooms of 2,000+, built volunteer teams from scratch, and been the one people call when a quick fix turns into something bigger. I show up, I don't panic, and I get things working.

The receipts.

A resume that lives here instead of a PDF nobody downloads.
